Who can take part

  • You have been treated with a type of chemotherapy containing platinum, and it stopped working or the cancer came back.
  • Your cancer is a rare type called extrapulmonary small cell carcinoma or neuroendocrine carcinoma, found in areas like the gut, bladder, or head and neck.
  • You have at least one measurable tumor by a standard scan (CT or MRI) within the past 4 weeks.
  • You are generally healthy enough for daily activities (performance status 0 or 1) and are at least 18 years old.
  • You can provide a tissue sample from a past biopsy or agree to have a new biopsy before starting treatment.
  • If you have had brain metastases that were treated, they must be stable and you must be off steroids for at least a week.
