Who can take part

  • You must have been diagnosed with esophageal cancer through a biopsy.
  • You must be scheduled for surgery to remove the cancer and nearby lymph nodes.
  • You must have had or be willing to have multimodal MRI, spectral CT, and FAPI PET-CT scans before surgery.
  • If you received chemotherapy or radiation before surgery, you must have these scans both before and after that treatment.
  • You cannot have had any other cancer or cancer treatment in the past.
  • You must not have any health issues that make MRI, CT, or PET-CT unsafe for you.
