Who can take part

  • You are a parent or legal guardian at least 18 years old.
  • Your child is between 4 and 17 years old.
  • Your child has an asthma diagnosis and is prescribed a daily asthma controller inhaler.
  • Your child has asthma symptoms like coughing or wheezing more than 2 days a week, or uses rescue medicine more than 2 days a week, or wakes up at night due to asthma more than 2 days a month.
  • Your child is seen at Primary Care Uptown, Primary Care Deming, Allergy, or Pulmonary clinics at Lurie Children's Hospital.
  • You have a compatible smartphone with the Hailie® app, and your child's inhaler can fit the Hailie sensor.
