Quality of life study for DDB with OPEP device

This study looks at how a breathing device called OPEP affects the quality of life of people with DDB (a lung condition that causes widening and damage to the airways). If you or your child has DDB and doesn't already use an OPEP device, this trial may help understand if starting one improves daily life.

Who can take part

  • You must be at least 8 years old (children 8–17 or adults 18+ are welcome).
  • You have been diagnosed with DDB (a chronic lung condition).
  • You do not currently use an oscillating positive expiratory pressure (OPEP) device.
  • Your DDB symptoms are stable (not in a sudden flare-up).
  • You attend regular follow-up appointments with your doctor.
  • You do not have other serious or uncontrolled health issues that would interfere with the study.
