Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that is locally advanced (has spread to nearby tissues) or metastatic (has spread to other parts of the body) and cannot be removed by surgery.
  • You have not received any prior chemotherapy or radiation for this cancer, except if you completed adjuvant therapy (after surgery) at least 3 months ago, or you have stable disease after 3 months of first-line chemotherapy.
  • You are in good enough general health to carry out daily activities (ECOG performance status 0-2).
  • You have normal blood cell counts and adequate kidney and liver function, as measured by blood tests.
  • You do not have active autoimmune disease, HIV, active tuberculosis, or another active cancer.
