Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have a spot or growth in your lung seen on a CT scan.
  • You are willing to have a bronchoscopy (a thin tube placed through your mouth into your lung).
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy.
  • You do not have serious bleeding problems or take blood thinners that can't be stopped.
  • You do not have a severe heart or lung condition, an active medical implant, or a known allergy to anesthetics.
