Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have a severe injury (based on a score called ISS > 15).
- You must arrive at the trauma center within 6 hours of the accident.
- You must have a high risk of kidney injury, shown by a special test result within 12 hours of ICU care.
- You cannot have serious kidney disease, dialysis, or very weak heart function.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, or be in another conflicting study.
