3D-Printed Guide vs. Standard Surgery for Jaw Fracture

Who can take part

  • You have a break in the lower jaw (mandible) at the angle (the back corner) that needs surgery to fix it.
  • You are generally healthy enough for surgery and have no serious medical problems that would make it unsafe.
  • You have good oral hygiene and no untreated gum disease.
  • You are not pregnant or nursing.
  • You are not taking certain bone-strengthening medications (bisphosphonates) through an IV.
