Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have a diagnosis of endometrial hyperplasia, endometrioid adenocarcinoma (a type of endometrial cancer), or a healthy endometrium (lining of the uterus) if you are having a hysterectomy for a non-cancer condition.
- You are willing to give written permission to use your data and tissue samples (for this study or future follow-up).
- For the retrospective group: your tissue samples are stored at the institute’s biobank, and you have at least 2 years of follow-up information.
- You do not have a cancer that started in another part of the body (synchronous cancer).
- You have not had chemotherapy or radiation before surgery for this condition.
- You have not taken hormone therapies for this condition.
- You do not have an infection in your uterine cavity (pyometra).
- Your other health conditions (like heart or lung disease) are well controlled with medication.
