Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with chronic cholecystitis or a bile duct/gallbladder movement disorder.
- You have had pain or discomfort in your upper belly for at least the past week, and that pain is at least a 4 out of 10 on a pain scale.
- You also have at least one other symptom like heartburn, burping, nausea, bloating, stomach rumbling, gas, constipation, or diarrhea.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy during the study, and you agree to use effective birth control if needed.
- You do not have certain other stomach conditions, a history of stomach surgery (except appendix removal), or serious health problems like heart failure, liver disease, or cancer.
