Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You have a lung nodule seen on a CT scan
  • You are willing and able to have lung function tests and CT scans before surgery
  • Your CT scans and lung function tests must be done within one month of each other
  • You cannot have severe breathing problems or blockages in your airways or esophagus
  • You must not be on certain medications that would interfere with lung function testing
