- You must have no natural teeth left (completely edentulous).
- Your jaw relationship must be normal (Angle's Class I).
- Your face should be mostly symmetrical.
- You must be willing and able to cooperate with the study procedures.
- You cannot have jaw joint problems (TMD), uncontrolled diabetes, nerve/muscle disorders, or severe psychiatric conditions.
- Your jaw relationship must not be Class II or III (overbite or underbite).
