Who can take part

  • Your child is 1 to 5 years old.
  • Your child is scheduled for non-emergency lower belly or pelvic surgery lasting less than 2 hours.
  • Your child is generally healthy (classified as ASA I or II).
  • Your child does not have any nerve or muscle disorders, bleeding problems, or an active infection.
  • Your child is not on certain blood pressure or heart medicines, and is not allergic to the study drugs.
