Who can take part

  • You must be between 1 and 6 years old.
  • You are scheduled for surgery on the lower belly or groin area.
  • You are in good health overall (ASA I or II).
  • You do not have liver, kidney, or heart problems.
  • You have not had a cold or asthma flare-up in the last 1-2 weeks.
  • You have no conditions that affect the spine or brain, like cerebral palsy.
