Who can take part
- You are 50 to 75 years old and have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (at least two symptoms like tremor, slowness, or stiffness), or you are a healthy volunteer of similar age and sex.
- You do not have dementia, serious heart failure, cancer, or other major illnesses.
- You have not taken antibiotics in the last 3 months.
- You do not have chronic constipation, inflammatory bowel disease, or diabetes.
- You do not smoke more than 15 cigarettes a day or have a history of alcohol/drug addiction.
- You are not taking immune-suppressing drugs or have a blood/autoimmune disease.
