Prognosis marker in endometrial cancer

This study looks at a protein called METTL-14 in a common type of endometrial cancer (type 1). The goal is to see if the amount of this protein is linked to how the disease progresses and how long patients survive. If you have had a hysterectomy for type 1 endometrial cancer and your medical records are complete for at least three years, you might be able to participate.

Who can take part

  • You have type 1 endometrial cancer.
  • You had a hysterectomy to remove your uterus.
  • Your doctors have complete records of your age, symptoms, and exam findings.
  • Your doctors have records of your biopsy and any imaging tests.
  • Your doctors have records of your survival, whether the cancer spread or came back, and any chemotherapy you received for at least three years.
  • Tissue from your cancer (a tissue block or stained slide) must still be available.
