Who can take part
- You are a woman aged 30 to 40.
- If you have primary ovarian insufficiency (POI), you must have been diagnosed within the last 6 months and be ready to start a specific estrogen patch and progesterone pill treatment.
- If you do not have POI, you must have regular periods every 21–35 days.
- You have not taken any estrogen replacement therapy before.
- You have not used hormone therapy (like contraception or testosterone) in the last 6 months.
- You do not have certain health conditions such as a history of blood clots, stroke, breast cancer, severe liver disease, or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
