Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must be scheduled for brain surgery to remove a suspected tumor.
  • This is for people having their first brain surgery for this tumor (not a repeat surgery).
  • You must not have an active bacterial or viral infection.
  • You must not have a history of allergy to Indocyanine Green (a dye sometimes used in surgery).
  • You must not be allergic to iodine or taking certain medications (choleretic agents or rifampicin).
