Who can take part
- You are currently having an asthma attack or a COPD flare-up.
- If you have asthma, you must be between 18 and 80 years old.
- If you have COPD, you must be between 40 and 80 years old.
- You cannot have other serious lung diseases like lung abscess, scarring, active tuberculosis, or widened airways.
- You cannot have severe heart, liver, or kidney problems, or be pregnant, breastfeeding, or in another trial.
- You must be willing to receive acupuncture and have no skin issues that prevent it.
