  • You are between 18 and 45 years old.
  • You have no biological parent or sibling with diabetes (type 1 or type 2).
  • You are not taking any medications, except birth control for females.
  • You are not on a low-carb diet or taking ketone supplements.
  • You are not a competitive athlete in intensive training.
  • You do not have diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, or a thyroid disorder.
