Reproducibility of kidney MRI scans on 1.5 Tesla machines

Multiparametric MRI

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • Your blood pressure is below 140/90 without taking any blood pressure medication.
  • Your kidneys work normally (confirmed by a blood test showing eGFR of 60 or higher).
  • Your urine shows no blood or protein.
  • You are not pregnant, do not have claustrophobia, do not have a pacemaker, and do not have any metallic implants unsafe for MRI.
  • You are not currently taking medication for diabetes, high cholesterol, or any acute illness, and you have never had cancer.
