  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You are generally healthy or have mild to moderate health conditions (ASA classification I–III).
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is below 35.
  • You are having surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon and going home the same day.
  • You have not had prior surgery on the same Achilles tendon.
  • You can read and speak English.
