- Gave birth in a participating hospital or birth center in Switzerland
- Your partner (the one you live with) agrees to take part too – only one partner per mother
- Baby was born at 22 weeks or later, or weighed at least 500 grams
- At least 14 years old
- Can understand and answer questions in German, French, Italian, or English
