Who can take part

  • You are an athlete between 12 and 30 years old
  • You had an injury during exercise, such as a muscle injury, sprain, bruise, torn ligament, dislocation, or broken bone
  • You do not have serious heart, blood vessel, or brain disease
  • Your liver and kidney function are normal
  • You have not taken any drugs or supplements that affect metabolism recently
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a condition that changes metabolism
