Who can take part

  • You must be over 18 years old.
  • You have a growth (lesion) on your rectum that is flat and larger than 2 cm.
  • The growth is located in the lower part of your rectum (within 15 cm of the anal opening).
  • You have not had any previous treatment for this growth, such as an endoscopic removal or radiation therapy.
  • You do not have inflammatory bowel disease (like Crohn's or ulcerative colitis).
