Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have been diagnosed with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
- You cannot have viral hepatitis (like hepatitis B or C).
- You cannot have alcoholic fatty liver (more than 2 drinks a day for women, 3 for men).
- You cannot be taking medications that cause fat in the liver, such as tamoxifen or corticosteroids.
