Who can take part

  • You must get at least 80% of your nutrition through a feeding tube (like a G-tube).
  • Your tube feeding formula must be a commercial blend, home-blended food, or an amino acid-based formula.
  • Your tube feedings must be given as a bolus (all at once) within 30 minutes.
  • You cannot have had surgery for reflux (like a wrap or fundoplication).
  • You cannot receive tube feeds that go past the stomach into the small intestine (like a J-tube).
  • You cannot take daily antibiotics just for prevention.
