Who can take part
- Your child gets at least 80% of daily nutrition through a feeding tube (gastrostomy)
- Your child is on either an amino acid-based formula, a specific thick commercial blend, or a homemade blend
- Your child can receive feeding tube feedings of about 1 cup (240 cc) in 30 minutes or less
- Your child has not had a fundoplication surgery (a surgery to prevent reflux)
- Feeds go into the stomach, not beyond it (no post-pyloric feeding)
- Your child can pause certain acid or motility medicines for 72 hours before the study
