  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in the last 5 years
  • Your A1C blood sugar level is between 7.0% and 10.0%
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 25 and 40
  • You are not currently taking insulin or other diabetes medicines except metformin
  • You haven't used supplements with whey protein, creatine, omega-3, or vitamin D in the past 3 months
