Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You are scheduled for a DIEP flap breast reconstruction (using your own belly tissue) that will not be completely hidden under the skin.
- You do not smoke or use tobacco products.
- You do not have nerve conditions such as diabetic neuropathy, alcoholism-related nerve damage, or nerve damage from chemotherapy or other medications.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding at the time of surgery.
- You can communicate in the language used by the study team.
