This study tests if doing balance exercises with your eyes closed early after knee replacement surgery helps you recover better. You will practice standing and balancing without looking, which may train your body to rely on other senses for stability.

Who can take part
- You are between 60 and 85 years old.
- You had a total knee replacement for arthritis.
- You are in a rehabilitation unit and have had at most 1 physical therapy session.
- You can stand on both legs with your eyes closed for at least 30 seconds.
- You weigh less than 100 kg (about 220 lbs).
- You do not have blindness, diabetes with nerve damage, certain nerve or balance disorders, or a history of alcoholism.
