Balance training without sight after knee replacement

Who can take part

  • You are between 60 and 85 years old.
  • You had a total knee replacement for arthritis.
  • You are in a rehabilitation unit and have had at most 1 physical therapy session.
  • You can stand on both legs with your eyes closed for at least 30 seconds.
  • You weigh less than 100 kg (about 220 lbs).
  • You do not have blindness, diabetes with nerve damage, certain nerve or balance disorders, or a history of alcoholism.
