Who can take part
- You are 19 years old or older
- You have been diagnosed with breast cancer that hasn't spread to lymph nodes (N0) and is stage T1 to T3 (early to locally advanced)
- You are scheduled for a lumpectomy (breast-conserving surgery) with a sentinel lymph node biopsy
- You have not received any treatment for breast cancer before this surgery
- You are able to swallow and keep down special drinks and medications, and you are not pregnant
