  • You are pregnant with one baby (not twins or more).
  • You are between 20 and 40 years old.
  • You are having a planned C-section with spinal anesthesia.
  • You are generally healthy or have mild health issues controlled by medication.
  • You do not have certain health problems like high blood pressure, diabetes, or liver/kidney disease.
  • You are not allergic to any of the study medications.
