  • You are missing at least two front teeth in your lower jaw
  • Your jawbone in that area is narrow (2–4 mm wide)
  • You have no serious health conditions (like uncontrolled diabetes or bone disease) that could affect healing
  • You are not pregnant or nursing
  • You are not a heavy smoker and have good oral hygiene
  • You have not had bone grafting in that area before
