  • You have cancer pain, as confirmed by your doctor
  • Your worst pain in the past day is at least a 4 on a 0-to-10 scale
  • You are able to understand and report your pain level
  • Your doctor expects you to live longer than 3 months
  • Your current cancer treatments (like chemo or hormone therapy) have been stable and will not change during the study
  • You do not have any metal in your head or neck, a pacemaker, a history of seizures, or a brain tumor
