Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 55 years old.
  • You have a cancer diagnosis confirmed by biopsy or cell sample.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 21 and 30.
  • Your blood counts and liver/kidney function are within certain limits (checked by blood tests).
  • You have not used opioid pain medicines like morphine or fentanyl in the last 14 days.
  • You are not allergic to opioids and have no severe lung disease like asthma or COPD.
