  • Age 40 or older
  • No weakened immune system (e.g., from cancer, HIV/AIDS, or treatments like chemotherapy)
  • No history of severe allergic reaction to any vaccine component
  • Not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy within 6 months
  • No prior shingles or chickenpox vaccination
  • No uncontrolled high blood pressure (systolic ≥160 or diastolic ≥100)
