Who can take part

  • You are 40 years old or older.
  • You have never had shingles or a shingles/chickenpox vaccine before.
  • You are generally healthy or have stable, well-managed health conditions.
  • You do not have a weakened immune system or take medicines that suppress immunity.
  • You agree to use effective birth control if you could become pregnant or father a child, for at least 90 days after the last shot.
