Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have a confirmed gallbladder infection (acute cholecystitis) according to standard guidelines.
- You are not a candidate for surgery because you are 80 or older, or have a high anesthesia risk, or have other serious health problems, or you choose not to have surgery.
- You have already had a stent placed into your gallbladder using a scope guided by ultrasound.
- You are willing to sign a form agreeing to participate.
