- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You are scheduled for gallbladder removal surgery (laparoscopic cholecystectomy).
- You are in good general health (ASA grade I or II).
- You do not have an allergy to numbing medicines (local anesthetics).
- You do not have a bleeding disorder or infection at the injection site.
- You do not have severe liver, kidney, heart, or lung disease, chronic pain, or substance abuse issues.
