Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with cancer of the bladder, kidney, ureter, or urethra that cannot be surgically removed or has come back.
- You have not had any prior treatment for this cancer when it became advanced or came back.
- Your cancer can be measured on a CT scan.
- You are in good enough health to be up and about most of the day (ECOG 0 or 1) and can take pills by mouth.
- Your blood counts and organ function are within certain safe limits (like kidney function, liver tests, and blood cell counts).
- You are between 18 and 79 years old and agree to use effective birth control if needed.
