Who can take part

  • You are a man between 18 and 45 years old.
  • You have symptoms like fever, tiredness, rash, joint or muscle pain, headache, red eyes, or eye pain.
  • You tested positive for Chikungunya virus in your blood or urine.
  • You can travel to the lab for sample collection.
  • You can produce a semen sample (at least 1.5 mL).

Study of a treatment for newborns exposed to chikungunya

This trial tests a new treatment (PC-CHIK-V) for newborns whose mothers had chikungunya around the time of birth. The goal is to see if the treatment can prevent or reduce the infection in babies. Babies who are not treated will also be followed for comparison.
