Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older
- You must have dry eye symptoms: either a score of at least 13 on the OSDI test (if you don't wear contact lenses) or a score of at least 12 on the CLDEQ-8 test (if you wear contact lenses at least 4 days a week for 4+ hours a day)
- You must not have any other active eye surface disease besides dry eye
- You must not have severe dry eye (very low tear production or significant damage to the cornea)
- You must not have had eye surgery within the last 3 months (or laser eye surgery within the last 6 months)
- You must not be pregnant, breastfeeding, or (if you could become pregnant) not using effective birth control
