Who can take part
- You are 18 or older with a confirmed diagnosis of liver cancer (HCC) that cannot be removed by surgery, transplant, or ablation.
- Your cancer is intermediate or advanced stage but still only in the liver (has not spread to other parts of the body).
- Your liver function is good enough (Child-Pugh class A or B) and your overall health is fairly good (ECOG 0 or 1).
- You have not had any prior treatment for the liver tumor(s) being targeted, including TACE, radiation, or ablation, and you have not had any systemic cancer therapy (like targeted therapy, chemo, or immunotherapy) for liver cancer.
- You do not have tumor invasion into the main portal vein or major liver veins, and you have not had recent bleeding from varices or untreated varices with high bleeding risk.
- You do not have a serious heart condition, active autoimmune disease, HIV, or other active cancer (except certain low-risk ones).
