- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with functional constipation (long-term constipation with no obvious cause).
- You have not taken any constipation treatment in the last 2 weeks (except for emergencies).
- You are right-handed.
- You do not have metal in your body or a pacemaker that prevents an MRI, and you can communicate and follow instructions.
