Who can take part

  • You are between 54 and 89 years old and live in the community (not in a nursing home).
  • You can speak, read, and write English well enough to follow the study instructions.
  • You are able to arrange your own transportation to the Boulder campus for visits.
  • You do not have a major memory or thinking problem, a serious mental health condition, or unstable depression.
  • You do not have a progressive nerve, muscle, or joint condition (like Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, or severe arthritis) that limits your hand or arm movement.
  • You have not had a recent injury or surgery to your hands, arms, shoulders, neck, or legs that would make it hard to participate.
