Who can take part

  • You must be 8 years old or older and able to provide a sputum (phlegm) sample.
  • You must have tested positive for tuberculosis using a rapid test called GeneXpert.
  • You should be located in a Central African country for treatment and sample collection.
  • You may already be part of a related TB epidemiology study, which could make enrollment easier.
  • Your sputum sample must be of sufficient quality and quantity for lab testing.
