Who can take part
- You are 7 to 13 years old
- You have been diagnosed with nearsightedness (myopia) and your prescription is between -0.75 and -5.00
- You have little or no astigmatism (≤1.50 diopters)
- Both eyes are about the same prescription (difference ≤1.50 diopters)
- You can see at least 20/25 or better with glasses
- You do not have any eye diseases, injuries, or past surgeries
- You have not used special myopia control treatments like Ortho-K or atropine in the last 3 months
- You are not allergic to the eye drops used to dilate pupils (cycloplegics)
- You are willing to wear the trial glasses and attend all visits
- You have a parent or guardian who can read Vietnamese or English and sign consent
