Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You have advanced or metastatic biliary tract cancer (bile duct, gallbladder, or cholangiocarcinoma) that cannot be cured by surgery
- You have not received chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or anti-angiogenic therapy for advanced cancer (prior adjuvant therapy completed more than 6 months ago is okay)
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans
- You are in good daily health (ECOG score 0 or 1) and expected to live at least 12 weeks
- Your blood counts, liver, and kidney function are within trial limits
