Nail patch study for brittle, fungus-infected or psoriatic nails

This study tests a medicated nail patch to see if it can improve nail fragility, fungal infections (onychomycosis), or psoriasis that covers up to 75% of the nail. It might help if you have nail problems that haven't gotten better with other treatments.

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Your nail problem must be one of these: brittle nails, a fungal infection in the nail (distal subungual onychomycosis), or nail psoriasis.
  • The affected area on the nail must be 75% or less of the nail bed.
  • You cannot have used any topical antifungal or anti-psoriasis nail treatment in the last month, or any oral antifungal in the last 3 months.
  • You cannot have a medical condition that affects your immune system, severe circulation problems, or other nail disorders that are not related to the study.
